He is probably right to do so. He is a tad weak in communication skills even if he could speak French, which he can't. He failed to connect with Québécois and didn't even try, which was noted several times in Quebec media. He is weak on illegal migrants and Canadian immigration policy due maybe to his Lebanese mother but he should have made that a central issue for debate. He may have won the nomination but he couldn't beat Trudeau in Quebec. He knows this, being a numbers guy and following the polls as he did. All in all it's better that he stay out of the race and humiliate Trudeau from afar. He's very good at that. NEXT up is Maxime Bernier who will win the party nomination. I hope he doesn't shy away from the most important issues of our time.
